From Sardinia to the Dolomites: Bernt Bjørnsgaard confirms his participation in the 5 Days Val di Sole 2026
After the exciting experience at the 5+5 Sardinia 2025, Norwegian champion Bernt Bjørnsgaard has confirmed his presence at the next edition of the 5 Days 2026, which will take place in Val di Sole. Bjørnsgaard won the gold medal in the relay event at the 1999 World Orienteering Championships in Inverness, together with his national teammates Tore Sandvik, Petter Thoresen, and Bjørnar Valstad.
In the photo, taken at sunrise on the beautiful beach of Alghero, Bernt proudly wears the official jersey of the 2026 five days event.
The Val di Sole event promises unique thrills among forests, trails, and breathtaking alpine landscapes, ideally continuing the journey that began on the Mediterranean coast.
