5 Days 2026 will be the first edition of the international orienteering circuit 5 Days Italy hosted in Val di Sole. The program includes 2 model events, 4 forest stages (on the slopes of Tonale and in Val di Pejo), and one sprint race in the historic center of Ossana. The event blends nature, mountains, sport, and historic villages—an excellent opportunity to experience Val di Sole both on the track and as a tourist.
With 5 Days 2026, many of these villages become an active part of the event: visitors and participants will have a great chance to discover historic centers, stroll through charming streets, enjoy the local atmosphere, and combine sport with tourism. For those not participating in the races, the valley remains a beautiful destination. You can use your stay as an opportunity to explore the villages, forests, and mountains – perhaps hiking, cycling, rafting, or visiting castles, museums, and historic hamlets.

Ossana
Ossana will host the final stage of 5 Days Val di Sole 2026. The village is considered one of the most beautiful in Trentino. Its jewel is San Michele Castle, a medieval fortress perched on a rocky spur with a 25-meter tower. A visit offers a dive into history and splendid views over the valley.
In July, take the chance to enjoy an authentic experience in this medieval village: after the intricate sprint race through the narrow streets, relax with lunch in one of Ossana’s traditional restaurants or visit the castle.
Malé
Malé, located at about 740 m above sea level, is the administrative, commercial, and cultural capital of Val di Sole.
Places of significant historic and cultural interest include the Church of Santa Maria Assunta (16th century), the Museum of Solandra Civilization, the old Venetian sawmill, and the Marinelli Forge in Pondasio—a rare example of a hydraulic forge still functioning in the Alps. Malé is also a hub for sports and leisure.

Mezzana (and surroundings)
Mezzana is located mid-valley at about 940 m and connects the valley floor with the surrounding mountains.
It offers activities in both summer and winter: the nearby hamlet of Marilleva provides access to ski slopes, while summer is ideal for hiking, biking, and using the Val di Sole cycle path. Mezzana is also a peaceful base for those seeking accommodation in the valley floor with good access to the entire area.
Dimaro (and the valley toward the Brenta Dolomites)
Dimaro, at around 766 m, lies on a plateau near the Noce River. Geographically, it sits at the entrance of the valley leading to the Brenta Dolomites and to destinations like Madonna di Campiglio.
It is ideal for an active vacation: in winter it provides access to the Folgarida–Marilleva ski area, while in summer it offers hiking, trekking, mountain-biking, rafting, and more.
It is also the official summer training location of SSC Napoli.
